Hello! My name is Lindsay and I am currently a junior researcher at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 in Halifax. In October of 2012, I graduated with my Masters in Public History at the University of Western Ontario.
Originally from Southern Alberta, I graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2010. While finishing my undergrad I volunteered at the Galt Museum & Archives, working with the museum educator to design and implement programs. It was during this time that I became interested in the social history of immigration and its impact on local and provincial communities.
When I am not pursuing historical matters, I love to read, bake, and do crossword puzzles. I also watch way too much TV, including almost every Edmonton Oilers hockey game.
